New Doc

Tomorrow I'm taking Joey to meet Dr. Bob for the first time. He's a genetic doctor who specializes in Down syndrome out at the University of Connecticut health center. I'm interested to see what all he has to say but then I also have a feeling he's going to be telling me the same things I've already heard and read about. We met Dr. Bob when I was pregnant with Joey at the Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress's convention almost 2 years ago, and he was such a nice man. I love learned new things and I'm hoping me can teach me more! Not to mention that all the other parents here in CT absolutely LOVE Dr. Bob. I'll be sure to give you guys an update after our appointment!

In other news, Patrick and I are going tonight to look at a van. I stopped and looked at it the other day and fell in love with it, well didn't fall in love with it, but it's really nice. The only thing is that it's a 1997, but it only has 99,000 miles on it and the inside and out are both in excellent condition. It's a Dodge Caravan and a deep red color. And for the price that they have on it, it's possibly worth buying. We'll see. I want to see if it has a carfax report or anything so we can see the maintenance history of it. Cross your fingers it's a good one, I could really use a new/used car!!!

I hope it's what you need/want and that you get it! 99,000 is wonderful mileage for a '97! Mine is an 'o5 and has over 40,000 miles on it already!

And I hope you have a good dr. visit!

I am loving all of Joey's new videos and pictures! I can tell you're liking that camera!

How did the doctor's visit go? I hope you came away with more information than I did at Evan's appointment!

Good luck with the doctor. We have a minivan, a 2002 Town and Country and love it. I thought a minivan would be too much car, but they are totally mommy-friendly. The convenience is amazing. Just getting kids in and out of the car alone is much simpler. Wish you the best.
