Ok, just a quick update. Unfortunatly, Joey's urologist still wants to wait till he's a year old for the circumsision to apparently "let him develop more". I wanted to get it done now since at a year, he'll probably be able to take off his diaper and/ or rip off any bandage that might be on his little man parts. Oh well, I'm not too happy about having to have him put under twice in 4 months, but I'll have to live with it. Anyways...
Tommorow is the Connecticut Down Syndrome Congress's annual convention and I can't wait! It's from 8am-4pm so it's going to be a long day but worth it. We've signed up for 4 different workshops that focus on various issues with infants with Down syndrome. Also, the keynote speakers are Chris Burke and Steve Riggo who has a daughter with DS and is the vice chair for Barnes & Nobles. This is going to be such an interesting day! I can't wait! Hopefully tomorrow evening I'll have a recap of what all went on!

Bless his heart! I know you're worried about putting him under...I would be too. They didn't sedate Jack for his, and I don't know who cried more- me or him! Don't worry about him pulling off his diaper. Jack is 3 and has only done it like twice, so maybe Joey won't! I hope the hearing test goes well.
And I bet you are excited about tomorrow! Take lots of notes and share! That's awesome that they have that! :)
The conference sounds interesting. I hope you have a nice but also somewhat restful day!
I'm glad that the other doctor is going to talk to the urologis...I spelled that wrong. Tanner had 2 surgeries on his little peepee, and I asked about having circumsition redone, and they wouldnt do it. So I hope yours will, I dont like the whole let them develop some more theroy. Tanner is almost 2 and we still have issues.
I am sorry that Joey will have to undergo two surgeries, but I am glad they are being proactive in waiting not trying to go ahead with the surgery too soon.
Can't wait to hear about the conference.
Sorry to hear the urologist wants to wait - what a bummer to not get it taken care of now!
