This is probably the most difficult and painful post I've ever had to write. I'm miscarrying my baby. I feel so lost. I can't even think straight. I don't know what to do or say. I've never felt so lost in my life. I know God has other plans for my little baby, I just don't understand. Why me? Why did God have to pick my baby? Hopefully my baby will become Joey's guardian angel and watch after him as he grow up. But I just still don't understand. I will be taking a couple days away from posting on my blog, but please pray for me, Patrick, Joey and my little baby.

Oh no! I"m so sorry to read this! I can't pretend to even know what you are feeling or going through, but I wish I could reach out and give you a big hug. It doesn't seem fair at all. I like the thought of this baby becoming Joey's guardian angel - I hope that will bring you some comfort. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of prayers for healing.

Jessica - I'm so sorry. It's brutal. As it's relatively early, you may find that you don't get very much social support, either because people didn't know or because they don't comprehend the significance of the loss. Please surround yourself with love during this time. (For what it's worth, large amounts of red wine, chocolate and motrin have helped me through such situations, but that may not be your style.)

I know you don't know me, but I've been reading your posts for about a month or so now. I'm so sorry for your loss. My sister-in-law just went through it with her first pregnancy. It's not easy. Surround yourself with loved ones and know you're covered in prayer.

You don't know me but I as well as you have a son (15 months) with Trisomy 21. I came across your blog several months ago through some blogs of people on the Trisomy 21 online board. I can completely sympathize what you are going through right now as I myself miscarried in September. I had a very hard time with loosing my tiny baby so I know all too well what you are going through. If you would like to chat feel free to email me at karenm1214@aol.com. Lots of prayers and thoughts coming your way. Hang in there.

From experience I know that there isn't much to be said to make any sense of this. I have posted here and there for a bit now and find my self (even my being a stranger) with a very heavy heart for the 3 of you. Take care of yourself, you shall be in my thoughts thru this sad time. Many hugs to you guys. If you ever need an ear from someone who's been there I'm at bjmkcollins@hotmail.com

Oh Jessica I am so very sorry. I will pray for you and your family. I too have had to go through this twice. I tell you that not so I can say "I know what you are going through", because no matter how many you speak too everyones experience is just that "their own". Please know that I am thinking of you and holding you up high to God! My only advice is to allow your feelings and talk it out as much as you can. I am so sorry. Get some rest my sweet...
